What does a server management quote include?

A server management quote doesn't price infrastructure: it prices a management service layered on top of your server. With RDEM Systems, you keep your hosting directly with your provider (OVHcloud, Scaleway, Hetzner, Contabo, IONOS) and we bill only the management. Concretely, every quote details:

Supervision & monitoring

24/7 monitoring of your servers and critical services, with proactive alerts before an incident.

Patching & security

OS patching, security fixes, hardening, and SSL certificate renewal.

On-call & SLA

Guaranteed intervention under a contractual response-time SLA (4h standard, 1h for critical infrastructure), with optional 24/7 on-call.

Off-site backup

A volume of NimbusBackup PBS backup (Equinix Paris), physically separated from your host, included in the plan.

How we price your server management

What does a server management quote include?
The quote prices the management service: 24/7 supervision and monitoring, OS and security patching, handling of installs and configurations, on-call support with a contractual response-time SLA (GTI), and an included volume of off-site NimbusBackup PBS backup. Pricing is a fixed monthly fee per server, independent of the number of users. The infrastructure (server, hosting) stays subscribed directly with your provider — we only bill the management service.

How does RDEM price server management?
Pricing depends on four factors: the number of servers (physical and VMs) to supervise, the hours of coverage you need (extended 7am-10pm or full 24/7), the guaranteed response time (standard 4h SLA or 1h for critical infrastructure), and the volume of recurring installs and configurations. The result is a fixed monthly fee, with no per-user billing.
Does the quote include the price of the server or hosting?
No. You keep your hosting contract directly with your provider (OVHcloud, Scaleway, Hetzner, Contabo, IONOS…). RDEM only bills the management service layered on top of your infrastructure. This separation guarantees cost transparency and full ownership of your server.
Is there a minimum commitment?
The quote is free and with no commitment. Our management contracts are monthly; you are not locked into a long-term commitment. You can start with a limited scope and expand over time.
